  • More than anything we value a friendly face with great customer service skills plus a strong focus on monitoring guest overconsumption (due to the open bar nature of our bar service).
  • Bar Experience is an asset, however it doesn’t necessarily need to be “event bartending”.
  • Shifts will be mostly Saturdays, with the odd Friday or Sunday. There is also occasional weekday availability. Our main wedding season is from May to
  • November so most shifts will occur during this time frame. Candidate Must have Current Smart Serve Certification and reliable transportation.
  • Instruct/Assist personnel in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as weddings
  • Supervise other kitchen staff and servers
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
  • Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods along side Head Chef
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Leading/instructing individuals in a fast paced wedding or event environment
  • Be able to maintain timelines for food services
  • Must have extreme attention to detail
  • Restaurant Kitchen or event cooking experience necessary
  • Current Food Handlers Certification Mandatory
  • Reliable transportation to commute to work on site at various event locations
  • Friendly, professional, and customer service focused
  • Positive, outgoing, and friendly
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with guests
  • Smart Serve Certification an asset (not required)
  • Banquet serving experience an asset (not required)
  • Own vehicle/reliable transportation an asset
  • Flexible availability including availability to work mid-week, most weekends, and closing shifts required (upwards of 12am) .
  • Get to know the guests; be able to comfortably answer any questions a guest may have; ensure guest satisfaction throughout meal service and event.
  • Learn the details of menu offerings for various events
  • Deliver and serve food and beverages including, but not limited to, meals, condiments and accompaniments
  • Assist others with side work including, but not limited to, setting up, clearing glasses and dishware, loading end of night vehicles.
  • Communicate any additional meal requirements or special request to the kitchen/chefs

Our main wedding season is from early May to November, so most shifts will occur during this time frame. These are Pay on demands shifts once shift is fully completed.
